Anil R who worked as music director for award winning film Gamyam directed by Krish ,passed away today in Hyderabad due to a heart attack at a very young age of 33.Doctors couldn't save him though he was rushed to Appolo hospital . He was scheduled to marry in the month of May, and this mishap has struck all of a sudden now.Neither his family nor his friends could believe what happened to this budding music director at such an young age.
Known for his soft spoken nature and down to earth attitude he was liked by his friends a lot,Anil was Born in Rentachintala in Guntur,Anil's Father Mr.Thomas Reddy is into business. Anil completed his engineering from Vasavi college in Hyderabad and went to Belgium to do MBA. He worked as a sound engineer in Belgium and learn t the technical aspects ,concepts behind music making. Thereafter he came out with his album with Mickey J. Meyer that landed him a chance to compose music for Sambhavami Yuge Yuge in 2006,creating enough ripples for himself with even such a less-known film. In his relatively short career, Anil has composed music for Hyderabad nawabs[Background score],Gamyam (2007), Ninna-Nedu-Repu (2008), Kalavar King (2010), and the recently released LBW (2011). He won the coveted Nandi Award along with E.S.Murthy for his work in Gamyam.
Though he belongs to a family that's into business , it's his mother who made him listen to music right from his childhood ,and he was bit hesitant and surprised when he decided to make music his career .in an interview he also stated it was mere luck and accident that he is into music.he took a break for a year and a half as his father was sick and passed away in the summer of 2010.His Brother Anush is also inclined towards film industry, and his sister Anitha is housewife who presently resides in U.S. Very Fond of dogs and he was an animal lover. Anil lives in A.G.Colony, with his parents.
