IPL 2011- Srikkanth S/O Srikanth - Star made of 64 runs!!!

Srikkanth Anirudha - top scorer  of 1st IPL 2011 Match

The first match of Dlf IPL 2011 and he made 64 of 56 ball with strike rate of 116.36 , now imagine the crowd screaming and shouting when he thrashed the ball towards boundary in his home ground with his elegant sixes and fabulous fours the roar was huge, but... who is this guy?
He is son of Kirhsmachary Srikanth former opener and superbly gifted strike player from India with top rated strike rate and now chief selector of BCCI ,  did.... heeee.. help Ani [what people call him] to escalate in the carrer in the cricketing world??? [well this is the question many people have in their mind] and the answer is No absolutely no... according to me,'Bechara Baccha' already he might have been under lot of pressure being son of a celebrated cricketer, just encourage him and let him play his cricket. Will have a  little insight on the Anirudha srikkanth's carrier and will know few things about him as if now ... will keep updating later[let him strike another 50 or 100]

Ani Srikkanth S/O Krish Srikanth

Anirudha Srikkanth  was born in  Chennai on  April 14, 1987 to Indian cricketer Krish Srikkanth. He is currently playing for the Chennai Super Kings in DLF IPL season 4.

An attacking opening batsman, much like his father Krish Srikkanth, Anirudha made his first-class debut in the 2003-04 season when he was 16 year old. He was in and out of the Tamil Nadu Ranji squad in the following seasons but has enjoyed greater success in the limited-overs format and once topped the run charts for India Under-19s against the touring England U-19s in 2004-05. His record in the Twenty20 format too has been impressive, finishing the fourth-highest run-getter in the inter-state Twenty20 in 2007. Srikkanth Anirudha was also among 30 probables in T20 world cup.He was later included in the Chennai Super Kings squad in the Indian Premier League Twenty20 tournament. IPL 3

His popularity escalated as He scored 64 runs and got bowled over by jack kallis of kolkata knight riders at 19.1 overs. on the opening match of IPL season 4 [Chennai super kings vs Kolkata night riders].
in the previous IPL matches he wasn't getting proper chances to prove his mettle as he was playing at number 7 or8, now its time for him to prove himself as a good cricketer and carry his fathers legacy, lest wish him all the best.
Hope to see him in  Indian team playing international matches very soon, god bless him and give him power to hit lot of sixes to entertain us all..in this IPL Go Ani Go..
