Liza was born in Kolkota and brought up in Delhi. She is 25 years old and a graduate in psychology. Born to a Hindu mother and Muslim dad, Liza has a disturbed family life. When she was in class 12, her mom and dad separated and she had to give up her studies and earn a living for her mom, brother and sister. While working, through correspondence she completed her graduation. She has worked as an anchor, model, emcee, event manager, PRO and tele-calling executive.
When Liza was in class nine, she won the 1st prize in Boogie-Woogie. She was crowned Miss Delhi in 2002. Recently Liza launched a music album titled 'Simply Liza' with Mika.After her sucessful dancing moves in Dancin queen she steeled hearts of many as item girl and page 3 party animal, quite famous among IPL circle . Her first popularity limelight hogging took place when she publicly proposed ‘turbunator’ Bhajji Harbhajan Singh in reality show ‘Dancing Queen’ . Liza, who is also a stage performer, has done several shows that were attended by cricketers playing in the IPL and for Team India. She was also a regular at the IPL post-match parties last year.
A UK-based bookie, who calls himself Razaaq aka Razz, has been calling Malik asking her to use her alleged familiarity with Indian cricketers to help him fix matches in the on-going edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). She has been offered Rs. 50 lakh for the job.it is said that After she did not oblige him and turned rude with the caller, he threatened her of dire consequences. Liza approached the local Oshiwara police station in Mumbai and registered a non cognizable offense against him.
