Y S R congress party instilled by Y S Jagan mohan reddy saw a land slide victory in Kadapa by-elctions today, to the surprise of every one the rivals could not even get deposits.
The 38-year-old businessman-politician son of late YS Rajashekara reddy then CM of AP won the Kadapa by-election by a margin of 5,43,053 votes a record for Andhra Pradesh after Late P.V.narasimha Rao, he won over his nearest rival D.L. Ravindra Reddy, the Congress candidate. and M V Mysoora Reddy TDP candidate.
His mother Y.S. Vijayalakshmi, who gave up the Pulivendula assembly seat after her son turned against the Congress, returned to the state legislature. She triumphed over her estranged brother-in-law Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, the Congress candidate, by 85,191 votes, another record margin.The votes polled this time were more than the previous victory of late Rajashekara reddy.

Almost all the Top brass of congress and TDp were present throughout election campaign . Chiranjeevi’s presence in the Congress’ campaign, together with more than a do zone state cabinet ministers, failed to prevent a rout.CM Kiran kumar reddy was also present on the several occasions of campaign.
Though it is said that the present ruling congress party have over flown Liquor and money it did not effect the result in their favor, Telugu desam's statements which alleged Jagan with corruption and amassing huge sum of amounts also did not work .

Jagan in a press meet stated that his party YSR Congress party would present their Agenda on the birthday of his father and late YSRajashekara Reddy at Edupulapaya.He thanked the voters for choosing him as their leader and stated he would work for their benift,he also alleged that ruling Congress party and opposition TDP have become secret alliance .
Earlier YSR congress party put up a fair performance in the MLC elections, sources also said from now Vijayamma will play a key role in the YSR Congress party.
